Elaine has written several articles about sea life for Cecil Child magazine and enjoys educating the public about aquatic life and the importance of the environment. While studying at Washington College she interned at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and has volunteered at the Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium in Manhattan Beach, California.
